Traditional therapy can be incredibly effective, but for many people healing from trauma, meeting once a week can sometimes feel slow, disruptive, or difficult to fit into a busy life. Significant time is often spent reconnecting to where you left off before deeper work can begin.

Trauma intensives offer a different approach.

An intensive provides dedicated time to focus on your healing without the interruptions of weekly scheduling. Through longer sessions, we can move beyond surface-level coping and create space for meaningful processing, integration, and lasting change.

Using a combination of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, intensives help clients address the root causes of distress rather than simply managing symptoms.

Many clients report that intensive work allows them to accomplish in days what might otherwise take months of weekly therapy.

Intensives

  • My intensive model is specifically designed for adults experiencing:

    • Complex Trauma (C-PTSD)

    • Childhood emotional neglect or abuse

    • Attachment wounds

    • Dissociation

    • Structural dissociation

    • PTSD

    • Chronic anxiety

    • High-functioning professionals carrying unresolved trauma

    • Therapists, healthcare providers, and helpers seeking their own healing work

Trauma intensives may be a good fit if:

    • You feel stuck despite years of therapy.

    • You have insight into your patterns but struggle to create lasting change.

    • You are carrying unresolved childhood trauma or attachment wounds.

    • You experience symptoms of PTSD or Complex PTSD.

    • You struggle with anxiety, shame, self-criticism, or emotional overwhelm.

    • You notice recurring relationship patterns that continue to impact your life.

    • You experience dissociation, emotional numbing, or difficulty staying connected to yourself.

    • You want focused support during a major life transition or after a traumatic event.

    • You are motivated to engage in deeper therapeutic work and would benefit from an immersive healing experience.

  • Trauma often lives in both the nervous system and the internal stories we carry about ourselves.

EMDR helps the brain and body process unresolved traumatic experiences so they no longer feel as emotionally charged or overwhelming.

IFS helps us understand and heal the protective parts of ourselves that developed in response to difficult experiences. Rather than fighting against anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, avoidance, or self-criticism, we learn to understand the role these parts have played and create new pathways toward healing.

Together, EMDR and IFS provide a safe effective approach to addressing trauma at its roots.

  • Each intensive is tailored to your unique history, goals, and needs.

    Your intensive experience may include:

    • Consultation and screening

    • Comprehensive assessment and treatment planning

    • Preparation and stabilization work

    • EMDR processing

    • IFS-informed parts work

    • Nervous system regulation strategies

    • Integration and follow-up support

    • Collaboration with your ongoing therapist when appropriate

  • 3-Hour Intensive

    • $1,195

    5-Hour Intensive

    • $1,995

    2-Day Intensive

An intensive may be right for you if you are looking for a focused, personalized healing experience and are ready to engage in meaningful trauma work.

Together, we will determine whether an intensive is the best fit for your goals and create a plan that supports both safety and lasting transformation.
